Wesley Cook

Wesley began dancing in 2003 when he was introduced to blues and swing. After his first experience with a blues house party, he became hooked. He moved to Austin for music, and upon his return, took up the reigns for throwing the blues house parties in Denver. Outside of being an event organizer, Wesley is also a blues DJ and dance instructor. He is an accomplished singer/songwriter and also graduated from Culinary School in 2003 and is presently working on his first book.

What is PDH?

Project Dance house is real-time documentary exploring grass-roots dance phenomenons. In our first year, we will be traveling the nation going scene to scene; filming the life, culture, and dance of the people we meet.

Our first tour will take us through Denver, Albuquerque, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento, Portland, Salt Lake City, Tulsa, and Virginia Beach. We are privileged to be documenting three national events mentioned below.

PDH is also unique in that it will be viewed in 2 ways: a weekly webisode on YouTube, and the full length DVD. If you pledge $75 or more, you will get a special edition, director’s cut version of our documentary; not sold after our campaign is over.
